Christmas 2008

Merry Christmas!
We got the best smiles out of Jeffrey Christmas morning when he got some Playmobile toys and candy.

















Ella was sure happy to get a Dora doll. She, like many other kids her age, love the Dora the Explorer television show.

Ella was so excited to get her first stroller!
She spent all day pushing her new baby around the house.







Ella did a great job blowing out the candles. It was hard to restrain Jeffrey from trying to help her out.

Jeffrey is 4!

For Jeffrey's 4th birthday, we decided to play it low-key. His preschool class had a field trip scheduled to the pumpkin farm, so Dave and I went with Jeffrey. Afterward, we got to have chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting at the preschool. It was a great birthday!

Jeffrey was so excited to get a fireman costume to dress up in.

Jeffrey's 1st day of Preschool

Jeffrey's started preschool on September 2, 2008 this year. The Grinnell College Preschool is wonderful with great teachers and lots of learning toys. Jeffrey loves it!

Iowa State Fair

This year we decided to go to the Iowa State Fair. It is suppose to be one of the best, so we went to check it out.

There were miles of vendors selling everything from pork on a stick, to fried candy bars, and of course the 1/2 lb fried pork tenderloin sandwich.

Driving to Utah

Dave got a little bored while all of us were sleeping on the 16+ hour drive to Utah. So, he pulled out the camera and was taking pictures while driving.
